Banaue Rice Terraces

Called the eighth wonder of the world, these terraces were lovingly built by the Igorots using nothing but their bare hands and primitive tools. Carved at the side og a mountain, the rice terraces are also called "The Stairway to Heaven". It is simply an extraordinary feat of human engineering.
